The Mayrun tyre brand is manufactured by Kinforest Tyre Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese manufacturer of 4X4, PCR, SUV, UHP and LTR tyres. Their materials, designs and quality controls are all based on advanced international manufacturing and testing standards. The Kinforest Tyre Co. Ltd. began in 2000 with the purchase of Firestone tyre-manufacturing technology. Co-operation with Continental followed in 2006/2007, until the company was officially established at the end of 2007. Kinforest employs around 2,500 workers, and their tyres have achieved compliance with a range of international standards, including NOM, INMTRO, DOT, GCC, ECE and SABSAND. According to Kinforest they were also the first Chinese manufacturer to comply with ECE rolling sound standards certification.

Outstanding Achievements
In a short time, Kinforest has managed some remarkable achievements. In 2003 they claimed to have produced the first 20 inch Ultra High Performance (UHP) tyre in China, and in 2004 they produced a winter tyre suitable temperatures down to -30ºC. In 2005 they produced a 24 inch UHP SUV tyre.
International Markets
Exports sales are a brand priority, with customers in Europe, Asia and North America. In 2008 the company participated in its first industry exhibition outside of China and gained exclusive agreements in several global markets. Recent expansion of marketing has led to new markets in Sweden, Italy, Kuwait, Australia and Israel.
Global Products
The Kinforest Tyre Company is striving to spread its name and product range to an increasing global customer base, and is developing new products for potential new markets.
